You can add the ShareThis widget to your TypePad by following these steps:
- Visit http://sharethis.com/typepad
- Follow through each step on the configuration tool to customize your ShareThis widget.
- Click the “Add to TypePad” button. This will navigate you to the Weblog tab of your TypePad home page
if you’re already signed into TypePad. If not, sign into TypePad to get to this page.
- Select which blog you wish to add the ShareThis widget to with the check box next to the
blog name.
- Click the “Add Widget” button.
- View your blog.
How do I customize my ShareThis widget for TypePad?
You can customize your TypePad widget using the configuration tool at http://sharethis.com/typepad
How do I update my ShareThis widget for TypePad?
You can recreate your ShareThis widget for TypePad at any time by revisiting http://sharethis.com/typepad
How do I remove the ShareThis widget from my TypePad blog?
The ShareThis button is added as a widget to your Typepad template. Follow these instructions to remove the ShareThis widget:
- Navigate to your TypePad Home page
- Select the “Weblogs” tab and choose which blog you wish to edit
- Select the “Design” tab
- Click on “Select Content” in the menu
- Under the “Widgets” title uncheck the ShareThis Widget checkbox
- Click the “Save Changes” button and view your blog
- You can re-add ShareThis at any time.
