We are excited to announce the ShareThis Trending Content Widget – a new social curation plugin/widget that is a lightweight, to-go version of our ShareThis stream, launched earlier this year. The Trending Content Widget provides publishers with a great new way to increase reader engagement and general traffic to their site. The widget is also useful for readers, as it allows them to find more info on their favorite topics, share it with their friends, and see what else their friends are reading and talking about — all in one place.

There’s nothing else out there that takes this approach to social sharing, share velocity or trends, so we hope that you find it as exciting as we do!
Here’s how the widget works and why it’s special:
- Customization: Publishers can set the Trending Content Widget to only show articles on the same topics as what’s covered by their site, or only other articles from their site alone.
- Integration: Readers can see what their friends are sharing on Facebook, Twitter or Google Buzz through the widget, and share or “Like” the content on any of these services as well which means more sharing.
- Discovery: Using our unique share-velocity algorithms, publishers will be able to customize the widget to show top trending content from their domain or popular topics, offering readers a well-rounded feed of information on their site.
The relevancy of content paired with the ability to share on social networks within the widget can increase user interaction and engagement, making every site amore compelling destination for readers to absorb and share content.
Whether you’re a publisher or a reader, we hope you enjoy using the widget! To create your own Trending Content Widget, click here

Good, good, fantastic.
Any help on adding this to blogger? I’ve tried and really want this trending gadget for blogger.
Hi,
You can add this to blogger, but you have to add the code directly to your HTML. If you aren’t comfortable doing this then we don’t recommend it because if you don’t know what you are doing, you can mess up your blog.
Haha, that’s a funny point.
please provide the way of addind this on blogger. ihave back up template. Where to add the code in template?
Please send an email to customersupport@sharethis.com with your question and they will assist you.
