Today Google launched their official Google Buzz button, providing users with a more direct way to post content to Google Buzz. We’re excited to report that ShareThis is one of the first participating sites and will be implementing the Buzz button starting today. Now ShareThis users can share content directly to Google Buzz from the ShareThis widget on any of our 135,000 publisher sites and the ShareThis toolbar.

the “Google Buzz” button has replaced the “save” button which is not available anymore. Why is this ?
The Google Buzz button has replaced (for me) the Save to Sharebox button, and I simply cannot find a way — even an inconvenient one — to save an item. Am I missing something? Where did the Save button go?

Don’t worry, the ShareBox will be making it’s return soon.
In the mean time, the best way to add something to your sharebox is by sharing it. (you can share it with yourself via email if you don’t want to send it to anyone else)

I shared something via email to myself a few hours ago and it hasn’t shown up in My Shares yet. What’s going on? How long should it take?
When will we get Orkut button on Sharethis? Now that the Orkut people have launched the official Orkut Share button.

Gotta say it’s good but why did Google take so long to compete with digg , reddit etc?
I think it’ll get a decent following but the boat has already sailed on this one, exactly the same as now that google are trying (again) to do a facebook competitor.
